“Intram in Biserica” Campaign
Dear beloved,
The construction project of the “Moldovita la Washington DC” church is at a critical moment and needs the support of each one of you. We are only a few months away from obtaining the Occupancy Permit, but also 1.2 million dollars away. At the moment, the project depends only on our generosity and sacrifice! The contractors are moving at a constant pace and if we have the necessary funds, by the fall of this year (or at the latest by Nativity of Christ) we hope to serve in the big church .
Please be very generous with this project of our community! We invite you to register and donate to the new campaign “We are entering the church”.

Beloved faithful,
“God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:13). This is the good news that we want to experience together in the community of our “St. Andrew Orthodox Church” in Potomac, Maryland!
The life of each and every one of us is under the sign of God’s love, expressed in a perfect way through our Savior Jesus Christ. Everything begins and ends with God! He presents Himself to us through everything that surrounds us! In this respect, Saint Siluan the Athonite pronounces it in such a sublime way: “The soul lives long time on the earth and loves the earth’s beauty; it loves the sky and the sun, it loves the beautiful gardens, the sea and the rivers, the forests and the plains; it also loves music, and is delighted by all these earthly things. But when it knows our Lord Jesus Christ, it does not want to see anymore anything that is earthly.”
In our community, we want to feel together the love of God, and to respond to this love through our day-by-day life. We are called to have “Christ’s thoughts, and to think in a way similar to Him, in everything, to think Him” (Saint Maxim the Confessor).
We invite you to join our great spiritual family, if you have not already done so, and to bring your own unique and fundamental contribution to the growth and prosperity of the Christ’s Church on earth. “And, whatsoever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; knowing that of The Lord you shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for you serve The Lord Christ.” (Colossians 3: 23-24).
Do not disregard this call from The Lord, to serve Him with your full dedication and sincerity! We are called to accomplish many things together, and in particular to build a house to God.
Thank you!
