ATTACH YOUR NAME TO THE FOUNDATION OF OUR SOON-TO-BE-BUILT LORD’S HOUSE OF WORSHIP SAINT ANDREW ROMANIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH
On June 29 2010 we have finalized the title transfer of the land located at 9111 River Road, Potomac, MD 20254, owned by our sister Parish, Holy Cross Romanian Orthodox Church, the former Parish of the late Fr. Gheorghe Calciu, where this project was born. The assumption of the $1.28 million mortgage loan represented one of the most crucial moments of our construction project.
For those of you who would like to help on this project, we have designed a nominal attribution of 9-SF square of the land under the future church for $300 each. Please keep in mind that the total number of squares is limited to 672 and 244 squares have been already purchased and donated. A sitemap identifying them, as well as a list of the existing donors, can be found on our website under parcels campaign donations. You can purchase land squares for yourself, for the family members, for friends, or for a departed loved one. You can donate online or by check, mentioning the names of the persons for whom you make the donation and the Memo designation “the land under St. Andrew church.” The donors will be acknowledged on a commemorative plaque in the church.
